An Ipswich Borough Council spokeswoman said: “An area of the park that contains play equipment has been fenced off so that necessary repairs and maintenance can be carried out.
"We are undertaking this work as a priority and will have the full park open again for everyone to enjoy as soon as this work is completed.”
Ipswich Borough Council has not yet confirmed the reopening date for the park but said it will let the public know as soon as the work is complete.
