A Lego exhibition made up using more than half a million bricks has opened in Ipswich.
"Brick Wonders: Around the world in Lego bricks" was opened to the public on Friday, July 12 at The Hold on Ipswich Waterfront.
The exhibition showcases Lego versions of the wonders of the world, with a number of family friendly activities planned over the summer holiday.
Lego artist, Warren Elsmore, created the exhibition taking visitors "on a journey that takes them from the ancient pyramids of Egypt to the bustling streets of Old London Bridge, to the breath-taking night sky of the Aurora Australis, and finally to the centrepiece installation of the Great Barrier Reef."
Philip Faircloth-Mutton, Suffolk County Council's member for environment, communities and equality said, “We are delighted to be able to bring this unique exhibition to a venue in Suffolk."
"Brick Wonders is a fantastic summer activity for families, LEGO® enthusiasts, and fans of ancient history, architecture, and social history."
"We encourage everyone to come and visit this exceptional exhibition."
The exhibition runs until Sunday, September 29 at The Hold on Ipswich Waterfront.
Exhibition opening times are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday, with late opening on Thursdays. And 10.30am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are £5 for adults, £4 for children and £14 for group tickets.
