A man has been arrested after armed police were called to an incident in Ipswich.
Officers were called to Windsor Road, near Bramford Road, at about 8.10am on Monday following reports of a man in possession of knives outside a home.
A spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed that armed officers were called to the incident and one person was arrested.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of affray and taken to Martlesham police station for questioning where he remains.
Nobody was injured in the incident, the spokesman confirmed.
A picture showed at least six police cars and several officers at the scene.
The road was blocked while police attended the incident.
Police were also called to a public nuisance incident in Bramford Road at about 7.50am on Monday.
