A mother and daughter from Ipswich were left fuming after they couldn't vote in the General Election.
Nikki Hart and her 21-year-old daughter had opted to vote by post but were surprised their ballot papers had still not arrived by Tuesday, July 2.
They called Ipswich Borough Council and were told they could vote in person at their polling station at St John's United Reform Church in Cowper Street, Ipswich, if their voting forms didn't arrive in time.
The pair went to the polling station at 7pm on Thursday, after Mrs Hart finished at her after-school workshop.

She said: "When we got we were told that our names had already been struck off as we had opted for a postal vote. We were told we could not vote at the station.
"I am fuming at that. We were told the wrong information on the phone and we cannot even vote.
"It's our right to have the opportunity to vote in our elections and participate in democracy but that was taken away."
She said it was too late in the day to call the borough council to find a solution.
Election rules do not allow voters to cast a vote at a polling station if postal ballots fail to arrive to guard against double voting.
