Festival of Wheels will return to Ipswich this summer with a high-octane display of monster trucks, motorcycles and all things cars.
As excitement builds, we have put together a guide for visitors.
Here is everything you need to know about the Festival of Wheels in 2024.
What is the Festival of Wheels?
Organised by Motor Show Events, The Festival of Wheels 2024 is a celebration of everything motor with stunt shows and arena displays of a range of different vehicles at Trinity Park in Ipswich.
When is the Festival of Wheels?
This year, the show will be held on Saturday, August 3 to Sunday, August 4.
When do the gates open?
Gates will open at 10am and close at 6pm.
Show vehicles can start to arrive from 7.30am and the first shows will kick off from 10am.
The shows will finish at around 5pm on both days.
How much are tickets for Festival of Wheels?
Adult admission is £19.99, children aged seven to 15 cost £16.99 and children aged three to six cost £9.99.
Camping tickets cost £75.99 for adults, for children aged seven to 15 £51.99 and for children aged three to six £30.99
How much for show cars?
Drivers that bring a show car will enter for free, however, any adult passengers on board will cost £10 and any child passengers they have will cost £5.
Are there activities for children?
There will be a range of kids activities at Festival of Wheels from a huge inflatable village and have-a-go Wonder Wheeler and High Ropes, to a kids discos, pony ride experiences and mini movie trucks to drive.
Can I park at the Suffolk Show?
Parking is free to all visitors on site and disabled parking is available to disabled badge holders.
Are dogs allowed?
The festival says dogs are welcome but must kept on leads and cleaned up after responsibly.
Are their cash points?
There are no cash points on site and some activities and traders do not offer card facilities so it's a good idea to bring cash.
Is their food and drink?
There will be a range of hot food and drink vendors and bars at the event serving classic food options, street food and snacks.
How do I get to Festival of Wheels?
The event will take place at Trinity Park in south east Ipswich which can be accessed via Felixstowe Road, Bucklesham Road or Murrills Road.
If you are travelling from outside Ipswich you can enter Felixstowe Road via the Seven Hills interchange on the A14 and A12.
If you are travelling via public transport you can take a train into Ipswich station and then get the 91 and 77 bus to Trinity Park.
