Some people would like to be the next Prime Minister of the UK, some people would like to be the next CEO of Amazon... and some people would like to be Ipswich Town's academy manager.

The Blues are going on a recruitment drive for a new academy manager, stadium food and beverage manager, hospitality and events assistant duty manager, and various women's U21 vacancies.

This is part of a new recruitment drive in which the football club say they are "committed to building an ambitious, hard-working, passionate, and energetic team off the pitch as well as on it".

These jobs range from full-time to part-time opportunities and include a range of benefits such as discounts, training and qualifications.

The position of academy manager will be a full-time role and will include a competitive salary, relocation costs and other benefits.

The club say they are looking for an experienced leader working in an academy environment with strong leadership and the ability to form positive, trusting and supportive relationships with staff and elite young players.

The position of stadium food and beverage manager is also a full-time role and involves planning, assisting and directing the food and beverage delivery on match days.

This new recruitment push comes alongside a multi-million-pound investment into the stadium ahead of the clubs return to the Premier League.

This will see a new safe standing area, a new TV gantry and new floodlighting.

There will also be a recruitment event for hospitality, kiosk, retail, and cleaning match day staff being held on Thursday, July 11 from 3pm to 7pm and on Saturday, July 13 from 10am to 2pm.
