Arctic wolf puppies born at Jimmy's Farm in Wherstead

The puppies were born at Jimmy's Farm in Wherstead on Sunday, May 12.

The alpha female wolf gave birth in the naturally-dug den within Jimmy's Farm's reserve in the new 'Lost Lands of the Tundra' exhibit.

A spokesman for Jimmy's Farm said: "The adorable pups have begun exploring and can often be seen dozing on their mound.

"We are happy to report that the pups are healthy and thriving. You will notice that they have darker fur in contrast to the adults, however as they grow older their fur will gradually transition into a white shade."The puppies were born in May (Image: Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park)

The announcement of the puppies' birth came alongside the revelation a fourth polar bear had made the wildlife park its home. 

Hope was reunited with her mother Flocke and sister Tala, who were moved from Yorkshire Wildlife Park earlier this year, as well as Ewa - who was rescued from Sweden last year. 

The Lost Lands of the Tundra exhibit is open seven days a week.
