Police have found the car belonging to a missing Ipswich man.
Ramaswamy Jayaram was last seen at his home in the town at about 5.45am on Sunday and has not been seen since.
He has been described as an Asian male, of slim build, with black thinning hair, glasses, likely to be wearing a tracksuit.
Mr Jayaram's disappearance has been described as out of character and his family and officers are concerned for his welfare.
Suffolk police has confirmed his car, a grey Citroen C1, was later found in the Ravenswood area of Ipswich.
As a result of this, police searches of the nearby area - particularly in and around Orwell Country Park - have been taking place, assisted by Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue and HM Coastguard.
Officers are concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone who has seen him or who has any information on where he may be to contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting CAD 97 of June 30.
