A large police cordon was seen in place in an Ipswich road.
Bramford Road was blocked off by officers at about 6.30pm on Sunday.
UPDATE: Three children injured after assault in Ipswich road
Officers at the scene had completely taped off a section of Bramford Road at the footpaths.
The nature of the incident is not yet clear.
Suffolk police has been approached for a comment.
