There were severe delays on the A12 caused by a broken down lorry.
National Highways said lane one on the A12 heading towards Ipswich at Stratford St Mary was closed for the recovery of a heavy goods vehicle.
The incident was reported ahead of rush hour on Thursday morning.
Delays were 45 minutes long as traffic queued for around four miles.
All lanes are now OPEN on the #A12 northbound between #B1029 and #B1070 near #StratfordStMary #Suffolk following recovery of a broken down vehicle.

National Highways has confirmed the lane has now reopened.
