Plans to build 114 new homes in Ipswich have been approved by the council as part of an ongoing 1,100 home project.
An initial proposal by developer Crest Nicholson to build a home garden village in north Ipswich at Henley Gate was approved in 2020.
Now a further 114 new homes have been approved by the council.

Members of the planning and development committee at Ipswich Borough Council met on Wednesday June 26 to discuss phase 3b of the Henley Gate development.
After discussing the size, structure, character and situation of the section of the development, the 13 committee members approved the proposal.
Phase 3b will see 114 new homes built on the 5.12-hectare stretch of land, east of Henley Road, of which 13 will be affordable homes.

All of the homes will range from two to three bedrooms and the majority will be two-storey high.
Meanwhile, three-storey homes will also be built, but will consist of commercial use on the ground floor and apartments above.
The new development will be situated at the south-western corner of the existing Henley Gate development.
