A thief forced their way through the window of an Ipswich home to steal an Xbox Series X gaming console this week.
At some time between 2am and 2.30am on Monday, an unknown intruder was able to force open an insecure window of a house on Larchcroft Road, off Henley Road in north Ipswich, Suffolk police said.

Once the thief gained entry to the house, police say they stole an Xbox Series X, worth about £450.
A spokesman for Suffolk police warned that all residents should ensure their windows are properly secured using locks or opening restrictors.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and anyone with information should contact them, quoting crime reference number 37/35361/24
