A current employee at a vegan café in Ipswich has decided to take over the unit when the owners close next month.
Flynn Squirrell, a current team member at Hullabaloo, has announced that he and his family will be taking over the premises situated in St Peter's Street.
Hullabaloo announced it was closing a couple of weeks ago - with owners Jennie Debenham and Jon Halls wanting to devote more time to their family and a "new vision."
Now, on social media, Hullabaloo has confirmed that Mr Squirrell, along with his mother Isabel and sister Megan, will take over the space from August, with an opening date in September planned under the new name Harvest Moon.
In the statement, Mr Squirrell said: "It is a huge pleasure to announce I will be taking over the premises.
"There was a lot of sadness when it was announced that Hullabaloo are closing. Jen and Jon have done an amazing job of creating an incredible community space, not only for vegans but also for Ipswich and the brilliant customers we call friends.
"We wish Jen and Jon the best of luck, whatever great venture they choose next for Hullabaloo."
Mr Squirrell, who has worked at Hullabaloo for just over two years, recently finished a fine art degree at the University of Suffolk.
Hullabaloo chef, Weronika, who has worked at the plant-based café for the last three years, has also decided to stay on at the new café, which will also be vegan.
Hullabaloo is set to close on Sunday, July 28. Throughout August the premises will undergo a refurbishment before Harvest Moon opens its doors early September.
