Rail passengers from Ipswich have been told not to travel to the capital due to severe disruption on the line between London and Norwich.
Services between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street have been cancelled on Tuesday morning due to a fallen tree damaging overhead wires on the line between Norwich and Diss.
Trains are currently cancelled until 9.30am due to the disruption.
Greater Anglia is advising passengers not to travel between Norwich and Diss.
A statement said: "Train services between Liverpool Street and Norwich are subject to delays, alterations and cancellations owing to a tree damaging electrical overhead wires between Diss and Norwich.
"Network Rail staff are on site to carry out repairs. However, there are no timescales for reopening.
"These closures are in place in order to keep customers and staff safe on the railway."
