The opening date and location of a family-run butchers' fourth store has been revealed.

Swiss Farm Butchers has announced it will open its doors at Roselea Nursery in Trimley St Martin, near Felixstowe.

In a social media post, the company also revealed the shop would open on Saturday, June 29.

The post read: "Our new Trimley St. Martin butcher’s shop is ready to launch!

"We’ll be opening the doors on Saturday 29th June at Roselea Nursery, and like all our shops, we will be open 7 days a week.

"So, pop in and say hi! We can’t wait to see you."

Once opened, the new premises will join existing shops at Aldeburgh, Ashbocking and Great Bromley.

In May, Kerry Gooding, manager of the Ashbocking outlet, said David Ridgeway, the owner of Swiss Farm Butchers, had been "out and about" looking for new locations.

The butchers has been running since 1972, having been founded by Mr Ridgeway's mother Dot, who operated under the maxim that "good quality meat should not be a luxury, but should be affordable to everyone".
