Despite the occasional heavy downpour, a food festival on Felixstowe seafront proved a success once again with people getting the chance to try cuisines from around the world.
The Beach Street Food Festival returned on Friday and Saturday, with a variety of food and drink trucks setting up in The Shed to offer different cuisines.
At the festival, people were able to try foods from South Korea, Japan, Jamaica, Mexico and Italy, as well as sweet treats from Suffolk business Kitty Bakes.
There was also a few drink stalls available selling a range alcohol drinks along with mocktails, fizzy drinks and juices.
I went along to try some of the foods on offer - including the katsu chicken curry from the Oriental Kitchen and a Ferrero Rocher brownie from Kitty Bakes.
The katsu curry was really nice, with a very generous helping, but the star of the show was definitely the brownie.
Kitty Bakes was formed in 2020 and now operates from a renovated 1960s trailer, going to a variety of food festivals and events around the county.
The Ferrero Rocher treat was the best brownie I have ever had, so if you are at an event or festival, and you see the trailer, I would highly recommend getting that or one of the other bakes on offer.
This was the second food festival at Beach Street of the year, with the third and final one for the year planned for Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21.
