A 42-year-old Kesgrave man has been told to pay out more than £200 after admitting causing criminal damage to a property.
Marcus Wade, who is of Foxhall Road in Kesgrave, pleaded guilty to causing damage to a glass pane in a kitchen door in Ipswich when he appeared before magistrates in the town last June.
Appearing at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in Ipswich in March, he was told to pay out a total of £226 and was given a six-month conditional discharge.
This included £150 in compensation for the damage caused to the door on October 21, 2022, along with £50 in costs and £26 in a victim surcharge.
His guilty plea to the single charge of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000 was taken into account in the sentencing at the magistrates' court, according to a court listing.
