Suffolk pubs have announced they will be serving up a free pint to fans for the first game of Euro 2024. 

The Man on the Moon, in Ipswich, and The Rushbrooke Arms, off the A134 in Sicklesmere near Bury St Edmunds, will serve fans before the clash between Scotland and Germany on Friday, June 14 if they say a secret password.

Fans will need to say ‘For Pub and Country’, at the bar to gain their free beverage prior to the 8pm kick-off.

There will be a variety of drink options to choose from, including pints of Greene King Level Head and Flint Eye, as well as ciders, spirits, and soft drinks. 

Greene King are offering the free pint at 800 pubs across England, Scotland, and Wales.
