A police cordon and forensics were spotted in Ipswich town centre.
A small cordon was in place near to Sainsbury's in Upper Brook Street at about 6pm on Tuesday (June 4).
A police forensics van blocked the road as officers carried out work at the scene.
The cordon has since been lifted.
Suffolk police has been approached for comment.
