An emergency road closure will be in place in an Ipswich road today.
Drivers are being warned as Main Road in Bucklesham is expected to be closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Wednesday.
The road will be closed close to the turning with Brightwell Road near Bucklesham Primary School.
While the road is shut Suffolk Highways will be carrying out urgent work in the area.
According to the Suffolk County Council website the footpath running alongside the road will remain open.
A short diversion will be in place while the road is closed.
