Two sets of plans that may see two terraced houses turned into small houses of multiple occupancy (HMOs) have been submitted.
Applications have been made by London-based Madison and Harper Capital for two residential streets near Alexandra Park in Ipswich.
If approved, the proposals would involve changes of use from dwelling houses to houses in multiple occupancy (HMOs) in Oxford Road and St Helen's Street, three doors down from Zoar Baptist Church.
The streets run parallel to one another.

The first in Oxford Road comprises of four bedrooms on the first floor, an upstairs bathroom, and common room, lounge, dining room, and bathroom downstairs, and no real change to floor layouts.
The second in St Helen's Street would involve three upstairs bedrooms, and dining room, living room, and kitchen downstairs.
The plans would change the use of the small upstairs bedroom into a store room, and dressing room into an office.
The plans were received by Ipswich Borough Council on Tuesday (May 28).
