An Ipswich library will continue to remain closed until the end of the month due to legionella concerns.
Chantry Library has been shut since May 8 after bacteria was found in the water in parts of the Hawthorn Drive site.
A spokesman for Suffolk Libraries has revealed it is still waiting on initial test results.
"Unfortunately as it will take a little longer for us to get the test results back to confirm the water treatment has been successful, and as next Monday is a Bank Holiday, we now plan to reopen Chantry Library on Tuesday 28 May," a statement said.
"We apologise for the ongoing inconvenience to customers but this is beyond our control."
Routine testing revealed a risk of legionella bacteria in the toilets of the facility.
