Plans to create a house share near Ipswich Hospital have been submitted to the borough council.
The application, visible on Ipswich Borough Council's planning portal, suggests converting a property in Colchester Road into a house of multiple occupation (HMO) large enough for six people.
The house, which is a short walking distance from Ipswich Hospital in Heath Road, currently has five bedrooms.
Floor plans show that it is intended to divide the largest bedroom on the second floor into two bedrooms, and add a second en-suite bathroom to accommodate this additional room.
The four remaining bedrooms would be located on the first floor.
Plans show that it would be intended for each of these bedrooms, also, to have their own en-suite bathrooms.
An additional bathroom is currently located on the ground floor, as is a kitchen, a dining area, a lounge and a study area.
Ipswich Borough Council sets an automatic eight-week target date for a decision on all applications it receives.
It has given this application a decision date of July 4.
