A small sinkhole was spotted in a road in Ipswich last weekend.
The sinkhole was discovered by driver, Lexi Davey, in Rushmere Road in east Ipswich at about 5.50pm on Saturday, May 11.
This comes after a larger sinkhole also appeared in Ipswich's High Street last month and temporary barriers obstructed the road for more than two weeks.
Suffolk Highways says roadworks were carried out by CityFibre on its behalf, with engineers working to fix the defect.
A spokesperson for the council said an inspection and maintenance procedure took place between 8am and 1pm on Tuesday and the road is now safe.
