A 21-year-old man who was found with more than 600 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine when he was arrested in an Ipswich park has been jailed for 28 months.
Patryk Ruszel was sitting on a bench with a woman in Broomhill Park in October last year when he was approached by police officers and admitted he had class A drugs on him, Ipswich Crown Court heard on Thursday.
He was found in possession of a total of 258 wraps of heroin weighing 21g and 365 wraps of crack cocaine weighing 35g, said Richard Potts, prosecuting.
These were in his pocket and in a rucksack.
Ruszel, of Finchley Road, London, admitted possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
Stephen Spence, for Ruszel, who has no previous convictions, said his client had got involved in drug dealing after losing his job.
