The New Wolsey Theatre is set to revisit the 1980s with a musical production of Footloose.
In partnership with Pitlochry Festival Theatre, the show is part of a vast schedule of shows being performed at the Ipswich venue this autumn.
Footloose, directed by the New Wolsey Theatre’s chief executive/artistic director Douglas Rintoul, will be shown from October 3 through until October 26.
The performance takes place around the time of the film's 40th anniversary with its Oscar and Tony-nominated top dorty score and dynamic new songs.
The show is inspired by the popular 1980s movie.
The Wolsey's autumn programme also includes The Highwayman, Pali, Jay's Ultimate Asian Wedding DJ Roadshow, and After The Act - A Section 28 Musical.
There are also more options for those that love stand-up comedy, live music, and traditional drama.
Notable mentions include Table Manners by Alan Ayckbourn, Murder For Two, Deaf Awakening, The Ronnie Scott Story, and Dom Joly’s The Conspiracy Tour.
Families can look forward to Luna Loves Library Day and Five Little Ducks.
Douglas Rintoul said: “Building on our commitment to diversifying our programme we continue to expand our collaborative partnerships with top-tier theatres, esteemed companies, and independent artists locally and nationwide, ensuring an inclusive tapestry of exceptional live experiences for all.
