Drivers are being warned as a Ipswich road near the Waterfront is expected to be closed for several weeks
Back Hamlet, near the University of Suffolk, will be closed between Monday, May 13 and Friday, July 5 to allow Cadent to carry out urgent roadworks.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Long Street and Foxhall Road.
While the road is closed, Cadent has said the footpath will remain open.
It comes after Cadent carried out works in Duke Street earlier this month.
The road closure was expected to be in place for more than two months, but it has been lifted early.
