One of the stars from BBC's Casualty has been announced as part of the cast of a hit Broadway and West End musical coming to Ipswich.
Come from Away will be at the Ipswich Regent Theatre from July 2 to 6 2024 on its first UK and Ireland tour.
The award winning show shares the real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland community that invested these 'come from aways' into their lives.
The first female American Airlines captain, the quick-thinking town mayor, the mother of a New York firefighter and the eager local news reporter are among the many real characters featured in the show.

The ensemble cast for the tour included Amanda Henderson who is best known for playing Robyn Miller in BBC's Casualty for more than 10 years.
In the musical she will be playing Beulah and Others, the head of the Gander Legion with a firefighter son.
Tickets for the show are still available on the Ipswich Regent's website.
