A 22-year-old Ipswich man has been banned from the roads and told to pay costs after being convicted of a string of driving offences.
Samuel Codin appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court, sitting on behalf of Suffolk Magistrates' Court, on March 23.
He was charged with driving while disqualified, speeding in excess of 70mph and driving a vehicle on a road without third party insurance.
The charges related to an incident involving a BMW 525 being stopped on the A14 at Nacton on April 14, 2022, according to a court listing.
Codin, of Orchard Street in the Suffolk town, was convicted of the three offences.
He was handed a driving ban of 18 months and told he must carry out 300 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months as part of a community order, with the work to be carried out under the supervision of a responsible officer.
Codin was also told by magistrates to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
A collection order was made for the sums.
