Scouts across Suffolk have participated in an annual parade and church service.
Over the weekend, young people and children from Wolsey District; Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts, took part in the annual St Georges Day Parade.
Deputy mayor Elango K Elavalakan of Ipswich Borough Council inspected the parade.
The procession led into St Mary’s le Tower on the High Street, conducted by the Boys Brigade Band, and was followed by a service led by the Reverend Tom Mumford.
Commenting on the event, Wolsey District's chairman, Paul Newby said: "We are very pleased with the turnout of our young people."
St George's Day is a holiday in England celebrated annually on April 23, which is traditionally observed as the death date of Saint George, England's patron saint.
On St George's Day, scouts march to show their promise and dedication to core Scout beliefs like trust, loyalty and helping others in their community.
This custom comes from the beginning days of Scouting.
Lord Baden-Powell, who started Scouting, often told the young members to follow St George's good qualities.
