The Copdock Interchange has reopened after a fatal crash involving an overturned lorry.
Emergency services were called to the incident near the roundabout at 4.30am on Sunday following reports that a fuel tanker travelling northbound had overturned on the slip road to the roundabout.
The A12 and Copdock roundabout were closed for 24 hours but Suffolk police were able to reopen them both at about 4.35am on Monday.
The driver of the tanker, a man aged in his 50s, died at the scene.
Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue, Highways England, National Highways, the Environment Agency and the East of England Ambulance Service attended the incident.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
Anyone with information should contact the Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Serious Collision Investigation Unit quoting CAD 40 of April 21.
