A family-run Ipswich gym has moved to a bigger premises, allowing the company to grow further with more space and separate zones for different workouts.
The Fitness Unit has moved to The Drift in Nacton Road from Felixstowe Road after the landlord wanted to open a new business in their old premises.
This allowed the gym to expand but with a bigger unit, which will also allow for everything to be done under one roof.
Owners, mother and daughter duo, Anita and Rachel Bond, have been running the gym together for 16 years, with Rachel's 17-year-old daughter Lily also recently helping out.
Anita said: "It's in a better location for us. It's bigger so there is more space, and it also has parking which is key.
"It allows us to take on more staff as well which is good.
"It was important that we stayed near to Felixstowe Road because of our client base so they can still easily access us."
The new unit boasts a kitchen, which will be used for nutritional work.
There is an upper level which will be used to teach yoga and pilates, something that previously Anita has had to do by hiring out halls.
Anita added: "We'll do some mindfulness sessions in there as well.
"This is such a good opportunity for us."
The gym will host an open morning on Saturday for people to see the new space.
There are more events planned in the future as well for the gym.
