The A14 near Ipswich has been closed in both directions following a police incident.
The major road was closed between J56 at Wherstead and J54 by Suffolk Police.
A heavy emergency service presence has been spotted at the scene with up to eight police cars and two ambulances.
An air ambulance has also landed at the scene.

Heavy traffic had built in both directions with drivers warned to avoid the area.
This is the second incident today after a broken-down vehicle caused delays on the same section.
