A broken-down vehicle was causing long delays on the A14 near Ipswich.
Police were called to the incident in the eastbound carriageway near Copdock at about 11.50am on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said officers were called to the scene.
According to the AA Traffic Map there was long delays in the area.
