Plans to create a new two-bedroom flat in the centre of Ipswich have been approved.
Back in October, it was revealed that vacant offices in Great Colman Street which used to house Fine and Country, Halls and Halls, and IP1 Lettings and Property Management had been earmarked for residential use.
An application submitted to Ipswich Borough Council suggested converting the first and second floors into a two-bedroom flat.
Submitted floorplans showed that the flat will include a hallway, kitchen, and living room area on the first floor of the building, and two bedrooms, a dressing room, and a bathroom on the second floor.
Ipswich Borough Council has now given its permission for these plans to go ahead, meaning the conversion can now commence.
The approval was granted last Friday.
The project will involve removing a flat roof currently over a hallway on the ground floor to create an outdoor yard area for bin and bicycle storage, with plans to create two cycle spaces.
