There were delays on the Orwell Bridge outside Ipswich after a crash.
Police were called to the incident on the eastbound carriageway at about 3.20pm on Monday.
One lane wasblocked and according to the AA Traffic Map, tailbacks were forming as far back at the Copdock Interchange.
The incident was cleared shortly after 4pm.
