An Ipswich shopping centre has sold at auction – for just a fraction over its asking price.
Sailmakers shopping centre, in Tavern Street, was listed for sale with auctioneers Allsop on Thursday, March 14.
The complex was set to go under the hammer on Thursday, March 21, with a guide price in excess of £3million.
Two late bids saw the auction sell for £3.02m.
A total of 129 lots were listed as part of the timed-auction, with bids invited on properties from 11am until 2pm.
A first bid of £3.01m was received at 1.49pm, while the second and final offer was accepted at 1.50pm.
