From a super social dachshund to a shih tzu cross who has been searching for a home for a while, here are some of the dogs who need rehoming in Suffolk.
Blue Cross is a charity that finds new homes for dogs, cats, horses and other small pets when they have been made homeless.
Its Suffolk rehoming centre is based in Wherstead and three dogs are still there waiting for the perfect owner for them.
Doug
Dashing Doug is a 6-year-old dachshund who is social with his friends and family, loves to play with toys, and enjoys the odd treat or two.
He has made a promising start to training but needs ongoing management in his new home.
A spokesman said: "With the right approach, Doug may be able to make one or two new dog friends but for now will need to be walking in quiet areas away from off lead dogs.
"He may be able to share a nice, parallel walk with a calm, on lead dog."
The best home for Doug is with no other pets and where children are older.
A garden would also be beneficial to allow him to run around and enjoy play time with his new family.

Pickles
Player Pickles is a 2-year-old lurcher looking for an active home as he enjoys going on adventures.
He is looking for a home with an enclosed garden so he can stretch his legs and play with a ball - his favourite toy.
A spokesman said: "Although we have no history on how Pickles is in a home, he has proven to be a relaxed character in our inside areas and enjoys investigating until he lays down with his legs stretched out having gentle affection.
"Pickles is still learning to keep all four feet on the floor at this time. Due to this he is better suited to older and taller children that are used to lively dogs."
Pickles is not ready to live with another dog yet but he can socialise with other dogs while out on walks.

Dexter
Splendid Dexter is a 6-year-old shih tzu cross who loves to cuddle up and form strong bonds with his favourite people.
He is looking for a new home that can continue supporting him with his training.
Dexter can be vocal at times when seeing people and has been learning to look to his owner for help with this and is making progress.
He can also be overwhelmed and noisy when seeing dogs so should be walked in quieter areas where he can still meet passing dogs but not have too many running over to him.
A spokesman said: "He really is a lovely boy and we can't believe he has been searching this long for a home. He has many little quirks that make him who he is."
Dexter is looking for a home with limited visiting children and no other pets.
