A large sinkhole that appeared in an Ipswich road has been cordoned off.
The large defect was first spotted in High Street close to Ipswich Museum on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Highways said: "We have been made aware of the large defect in the road along High Street, Ipswich.
"The area has been made safe and sectioned off with barriers until investigations have been completed to determine the cause and next steps."
