A teenage girl was elbowed in the shoulder and punched in the arm while cycling in Kesgrave.
The alleged incident took place in Bell Lane at about 3.20pm on Monday, March 11.
The girl was riding her bike when encountered the man.
It is alleged he then elbowed her and punched her in the arm.
He is described as white, aged in his late 50s or 60s, and with grey, balding hair.
He was wearing a black gilet, blue jeans and black boots.
Anyone who may have information or saw the incident is asked to contact Suffolk police quoting crime reference 13708/24.
