Teamipswich has triumphed at the Suffolk County Swimming Championships.
Over five intensive weekends, competitors and clubs rallied at the chance for the title of top overall team.
Some 11 swimming clubs from across the county took part in the Swim England events, held at Crown Pools in Ipswich.
It was Teamipswich, representing the host city, who emerged as winners claiming the championship title.
Teamipswich head coach, Dave Champion said: "We anticipated a high level of competition, given the number of exceptionally talented swimmers across Suffolk.
“And this year’s county championships lived up to expectations.
“Across all events and age groups we had some sensational swimming and I extend my congratulations to all participants.
"I am especially proud of the Teamipswich athletes, from the newcomers to seasoned swimmers – each individual delivered their best to achieve personal best times, medal placings, and regional qualifications.
"Really well deserved and a reflection of their dedication to the training they do.”
Teamipswich also won the top relay team and Matilda Bogle was awarded the title of top overall girl after a series of impressive performances.
Several other members of Teamipswich emerged as age group and event winners.
It was also a special occasion for coach Champion, who marked 35 years in his profession and was granted the Coach of the Year Award for his commitment to swimming and the club.
Teamipswich chair, Sam Garnham said: “The swimmers gave it their all, whether competing or cheering on from poolside – the noise in Crown Pools was electric and makes for such exciting competition.
“As chair of Teamipswich I am so pleased for each and every competitor – they all did the club, their family and friends and most importantly themselves, proud too.
"I applaud them all."
Teamipswich encourages young swimming enthusiasts at Learn to Swim Stage 5 or above to try out for the development squad.
