Two men from Ipswich have been jailed for assaulting a man in an "unprovoked" street attack in the town.
Noel Clarke and Ali Todd assaulted a man in St Helen's Street on September 22 last year.
Clarke, 54 and of Bond Street, admitted a charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the assault and was sentenced to four years and six months in prison at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday, March 8.

Todd, 33 and of Lower Brook Street, was sentenced to 21 months in prison at a hearing on Wednesday, January 24 after admitting to a charge of actual bodily harm.
Pc Zoe Taylor, who was in charge of the investigation, said: "We welcome the jail terms handed out to Clarke and Todd for what was a clearly unprovoked attack on a man in an Ipswich street."
