A 19-year-old man from Ipswich has been ordered to pay out more than £500 in fines and costs after he travelled on a train without a ticket.
Stefan Tofil, of Elliot Street, appeared before Barkingside Magistrates' Court in January accused of boarding a train in a non-compulsory ticket area without a ticket.
The incident happened on June 24 last year in Stratford, east London.
Tofil's case was dealt with through the single justice procedure.
He was fined £220, as well as being told to pay compensation of £32.90, a victim surcharge of £88 and costs of £175 – totalling £515.90.
