A person has died after an incident near a railway station in Ipswich.
Officers from British Transport Police were called to the line near Derby Road railway station, in the east of the town, at about 3.20am on Friday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
A spokeswoman for British Transport Police said: "Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Services between Ipswich and Felixstowe were cancelled on Friday morning, however services are now running as usual.
