Plans are being made to demolish a bowls club portable cabin and put up a new pavilion in a village.
The planning application was put in by Gipping Valley Bowls Club, which is based in Great Blakenham, near Ipswich.
The current 14m by 4m unit is currently used on the bowls green for changing, meetings and refreshments by club members.
It is set to be demolished, if plans are approved by Mid Suffolk District Council, and a new, larger and more permanent building constructed.
The new sports pavilion will be located at Masons Sports Field in Blue Barn Lane, off Bramford Road in the village.
The new structure will be made of timber and built on concrete foundations.
Proposals include a toilet, hot beverages section, club room, along with two internal storage spaces.
The planning application was made to Mid Suffolk District Council and received on February 5.
A decision on the application is expected to be made by the council by the determination deadline of April 9 this year.
