Homes and businesses were without electricity again after a second power cut nearly 12 hours after a previous issue.
Those living in Akenham and the Whitton and Castle Hill areas of Ipswich first lost power just before 6pm on Wednesday.
It was caused by a fault on an underground electricity cable and was restored just after 10pm.

The same area lost electricity again after a power cut was reported at about 5.30am on Thursday.
A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: "At this point we think the issue is a fault with some equipment in your local substation in the Burns Road area.
"Our engineers are checking our substation equipment is healthy before they attempt to restore your power."
Power was restored to the area at 10.15am.
