A hair salon has found success following their decision to leave their home of 20 years in the town centre and move permanently to the outskirts of Ipswich.
Lewis Hair Salon served the centre of Ipswich for two decades, but in 2020, Lisa Fryatt, owner of Lewis Hair Salon, decided to test the water in Kesgrave and teamed up with House of Hair.
This move was made permanent at the end of 2023, moving to Montana Road in Kesgrave entirely and rebranding the salon.
Looking back the owner says what started as an idea during lockdown and could have impacted the business has gone on to be a success, with a team of 10 skilled stylists working together.
The Kesgrave salon has been newly renovated and provides free parking, one of the benefits of the move out of the town centre.
Lisa Fryatt said: "It has been truly amazing to witness the support from our team and the Kesgrave community.
"We've had people drive by and come in just to express their joy at having Lewis Hair in Kesgave now.
"It's a testament to our dedication and wonderful atmosphere we strive to create for everyone who walks through our doors."
When announcing the permanent move to Kesgrave the hair salon posted on Facebook: "It has been an incredible 20 years serving Ipswich Town Centre.
"We would like to express our gratitude to each one of our amazing clients for their loyalty and custom."
