A house share for six people will soon be available near Ipswich railway station.
Permission was sought in December to convert the house at 33 Burrell Road, just across the road from the station, into a house of multiple occupation (HMO).
The plans submitted to the council showed that the house, which is spread across four levels, would include two shared kitchens and two shared living areas.
Meanwhile, each of the six bedrooms would be complete with its own en-suite bathroom.
On Monday, Ipswich Borough Council granted the HMO a certificate of lawful use, giving the proposal permission to go ahead.
Ipswich has seen a number of plans submitted for HMOs in recent weeks and months.
Last month, proposals were submitted for an extra bedroom to be created at an existing HMO in Woodbridge Road near the town centre.
Community leaders have also expressed hopes to force all landlords who are looking to open smaller HMOs to get permission from the local authority.
