A trial date has been set for a 20-year-old woman accused of repeated assaults on emergency workers in Ipswich and Kesgrave.
Amy Louise Garrod appeared via video link before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday.
She is awaiting her trial in prison as there is nowhere else for her to go.
Garrod is facing eight counts of assault on emergency workers, which allegedly happened in Ipswich and Kesgrave between November 4 and November 14 last year.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to all counts and her trial has been put on the warned list for April 1, meaning it could happen at any point the two week period following that date.
Previously, Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in Ipswich heard Garrod was suffering from severe mental health difficulties and had been advised not to enter a plea.
The court heard that Garrod did not currently have anywhere to live as she was in the process of collecting her belongings from an address in Princes Street, Ipswich, in order to find somewhere able to offer the level of support she needs.
