A driver was issued with a fine after their vehicle was found to be nearly 80% above its maximum gross weight.
The road collision reduction team was working alongside the commercial vehicle unit and the Environment Agency when the vehicle was stopped in Ipswich.

It was carrying scrap metal and was visibly buckling under its own weight.
Officers found the vehicle was nearly 80% above its maximum gross weight.
